LanPro’s Permanently-Lubricated HDPE Telecom Ducts and Micro Ducts consists of two concentric layers, the outer layer being HDPE; coextruded with an inner layer of solid permanently lubricant which is distributed uniformly along the entire inner surface of the duct to drastically reduce the Internal Coefficient of Friction (ICF). These Telecom Ducts with smooth inner surface facilitate easy insertion of Cable manually or by blowing technique and provide total protection to optical fiber cable, coaxial cables and electric power cable during and after installation. The Optical Fiber Cables used for Telecommunications being very delicate and sensitive, it became necessary to modify the HDPE Pipes to be used as conduits for optical fiber cables. This led to the development of Permanently Lubricated (PLB) HDPE Telecom Ducts. The ducts are made in 8 colors such as Green, Orange, Blue, Yellow, Brown, Violet, Grey and Red. |
