The LP-SG2402FP30 is a 24 x 10/100 Mbps 802.3af PoE Ports Switch without Management + 2 x 10/100/1000 Mbps Dual Uplink Copper or SFP Ports. The LP-SG2402FP30 switch was designed as a Power Source Device (PSE). It provides 24 10/100 Mbps Copper Ethernet ports using the IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard and is able to be a power source for IEEE802.3af compatible PoE Powered Devices (PD) in workgroup and departments, plus two (2) uplink Gigabit ports with a Copper or SFP interface. The LP-SG2402FP30 permits users to attach IEEE802.3af compliant devices such as wireless Access Points (APS), VoIP Phone, IP Camera, Printer and Network Attached Storage (NAS) directly to the 24 10/100 Ports without requiring additional power on the network. The unit is designed for installations where AC power is not available or no costeffective at the Powered Devices location. No configuration is required and installation is quick and easy. Support for Auto – MDI / MDI-X on all of the ports to eliminate the need for crossover connection to another switch or HUB. Auto Negotiation on each port senses the link speed of a network device (either 10 or 100) and intelligently adjusts for capability and optimal performance. The LP-SG2402FP30 24 port Power Source switch combines a high efficiency 24-port 10/100M Ethernet switch with standard 802.3af 24-port Power over Ethernet (PoE) with an internal power supply of 300W and recommended limit of up to 240W. All 24 PoE Ethernet ports can provide up to 15.4W of power as well as 10/100M data transmission over standard readily available CAT 5e/6/6A cables to the attached devices. While the IEEE802.3af PoE Standard specifies a maximum of 15.4 Watts of power capability, the user must take into consideration the following table for loading the switch ports in each switch model. For reference, a cable run of 100 m is considered. |
