Este es un conector óptico que reduce el tamaño de un conector SC a la mitad, lo que hace que la escala de integración sea muy alta. Cada vez es más común ver el switch con puertos de fibra para conectores LC dúplex integrados con módulos GBIC o SFP. El sistema de sujeción es muy similar al RJ: Se debe presionar la pestaña superior para introducir o extraer. Esta pestaña es tan pequeña que hay que realizarla con un destornillador de punta fina. El conector LC óptico se considera de cuarta generación, de tamaño mejorado, resistencia y facilidad de uso en comparación con las generaciones anteriores. |
