The LP-C290N 300 Mbps PoE Wi-Fi Access Point, is a convenient and easy to install Access Point solution for data, voice and video streams. User friendly, and beautifully designed for ceiling or wall installation, it is an excellent solution to deliver Wi-Fi service to large interior spaces. The LP-C290N supports the IEEE 802.3af Power Over Ethernet (PoE) standard which allows to be easily powered from the same cable that carries the data. A PoE switch like the LP-SGW2404FP from LanPro is an ideal way to power it and connect to the local area network. Another product is LP-PoE150 Injector, which lets you power the LP-C290N individually. This excellent solution utilizes the IEEE802.11 b/g/n standard and supports up to 300 Mbps air throughput for n compliant equipment and with and RF frequency range of 2412 GHz ~ 2484GHz (Channel 1 ~ 14). The LP-C290N has a very good receiving sensitivity peaking at -90 dBm @ MCS 0 and 40 MHz bandwidth and approximately 200 mW of output power. With intelligent QoS, it prioritizes both wired and wireless Internet traffic to bandwidth-sensitive applications like online gaming, VoIP or stream multimedia. It also Supports 64/128 bit WEP encryption, WPA and WPA2, WPA - mixed, 802.1X verification, WPS(PBC, PIN), to ensure that you will be able to use the best possible encryption regardless of your other wireless devices. |
