The LanPro LPT-71A LANTESTER for CAT 3, CAT 5e, CAT 6, and CAT 6a LAN networks or telephony is the ideal instrument for a quick checking of the network connections using RJ45(8P8C) / RJ11 (6P2C), RJ14 (6P4C), and RJ25 (6P6C) plugs. It consists of two separable devices, Master and Remote. Both of them can be at a cable distance of up to 300 m to test LAN network cabling or telephone circuits. With this LAN network tester you can check continuity and shortcircuits that could exist in a cabling section. LEDs show successively (automatically) the pin to pin connection of the cabling section being tested. In case there is short-circuit, two or more LEDs light up simultaneously. If there is no connection, they do not light up. Furthermore, you can check interconnection cables (patchcords), as well as cables embedded in walls (with the remote unit you can check cables installed in a block or control console at a distance of 300 m). The LPT-71A LAN network LANTESTER finds in just few seconds the most common configuration errors in Ethernet. |
